This exceptionally lovely holiday home reflects the architecture of Morocco and has all the hallmarks of exceptional Arabic craftsmanship in Palmeraie in Marrakesh, an elegant and well-known quarter of the city. Eight kilometres from the city centre, Palmeraie was a favourite of famous fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent for, as we know, style attracts style.
This dream of a holiday home combines the exclusivity of a private country estate with the exceptional service of a luxury hotel. The villa was originally designed as a family home, and owner Brian Calaghan places great store in protecting his guests’ privacy. The 15-person team headed by Maria, the hotel’s heart and soul, takes care of at most 16 guests at any one time. Just ask, and Maria will be happy to organize anything from a trip to the traditional weekly markets known as souks to a camel ride through the desert. Chef Amina spoils guests with heavenly dishes inspired by French and Mediterranean cuisine, and a separate kid’s menu to please even the youngest diners.
Villa Ezzahra has a total of 7 en-suite double rooms, each with a private terrace and some with a fireplace. The lower ground floor boasts the hamam, a fitness studio, the beauty and massage area, and a cinema/conference room. For your convenience, not only are all meals included at Ezzahra; non-alcoholic drinks and beauty, spa and hamam treatments are all part of the package too.
Villa Alkhozama is available for up to 4 people. It is located on separate grounds with its own spa and hamam and is not visible from the main villa.
