BE PART OF THE FAMILY
A holiday at Masseria Cimino begins with a trip through time: the atmosphere of this former farm, originally from the 18th century and lovingly transported into the next, wafts out of every stone. This little town has a soul. When Annamaria calls guests in for a meal, everyone is instantly ushered into what all our hearts desire most, what Italy stands for: family.
The design of the nearby wonderful San Domenico Golf Course with its 18 holes and view of the Adriatic was completed in 2001. The adjacent icing on the cake, the Masseria Cimino, took until 2005 to complete. Since parts of the wall date back to the Roman Empire and Apulians are rightly proud of their heritage, it was important that the restoration process preserve history for future generations to experience. Here you feel more than just the Mediterranean flair of the region, and gain a sense of what makes Apulia so special: encounters with an ancient culture.
But with all due respect for the past, Annamaria can see no reason to be that humble: in 2010 her hotel was named by Tatler one of the 101 best hotels in the world. A look at the 15 individually outfitted rooms and tastefully decorated suits reveals why. Visitors here enjoy what money can never buy: a personal piece on an idyll with all the modern comforts. And perhaps an opportunity to get up close and personal with golf club for the first time.
