TIMELESS BEAUTY

At the center of Positano, tucked away among the bustling and sunny alleyways behind flowers and a paradisiacal garden is The Palazzo Murat. In the 18th century, the impressive palace served as the summer residence of the King of Naples, Gioacchino Murat. He particularly enjoyed the quiet parks with their pervasive scent of lemon and the unobstructed view of the city. Today guests can spend the night in the original royal bed-chamber with a four-poster bed and terracotta flooring, then breakfast in the enchanting garden. The romantic, verdant Palazzo and its antique and perfectly restored furnishings invoke emotions which are, after all, the most important thing a traveler brings back from a holiday. And few other places in the world bring this unique atmosphere of history and Italian joie de vivre so vibrantly to life.
