DIRECTOR’S CUT

It was during a cycling tour in 1941 that opera and film director Franco Zeffirelli fell in love with the tiny alleyways and majestic cliffs of Positano. 30 years later he purchased a romantic estate directly on the bluffs of the small fishing village and turned it into a hotspot for the jet set. Opera diva Maria Callas was a regular guest at this unique holiday residence comprising four villas and one room even bears her name today. After extensive, meticulous modernization, this exceptional 16-room jewel opened as The Villa Tre Ville Hotel two years ago. Most of the original furnishings were preserved, retaining the estate’s special charm and cultural history. Guests are whisked back to the dolce vita of 1950s Italy. Modern luxury abounds as well: the outdoor gym built into the cliffs and the picturesque terrace offer a magnificent view of the Gulf of Sorrento. Jump straight into the sea from a lower platform. It is our great pleasure to offer you this exceptional hotel as an exclusive Cool Spot.
